What Does It Mean to Be a BCIA Board Certified Neurofeedback Therapist?
At Houston Brain Center, Lorrianne Morrow, LPC-S, BCN, is Board Certified in Neurofeedback through (BCIA). Did you know that Texas does not require practitioners to be board certified? BCIA serves as the leading organization in the United States and globally for certifying professionals in neurofeedback.

To achieve Board Certification in Neurofeedback through BCIA, licensed clinicians must:​

Successfully complete coursework in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, or physiological psychology, gaining a deep understanding of brain function. These courses must be taken from a regionally accredited academic institution or through a BCIA-approved provider.​​​

Hours of mentorship and 100’s of neurofeedback sessions conducted with clients, involving preparation and running full sessions.​

Pass a comprehensive certification exam to demonstrate mastery of neurofeedback knowledge.
